Re: Making your Lancer more Australian via the aftermarket

Great sentiment behind this thread. SA businesses that serviced local automative industries are not all doom and gloom. For every high profile exit there seems a good news story featuring a company that has diversified to offset it http://theleadsouthaustralia.com.au/industries/manufacturing/new-ind...

Well new vs used is a different discussion I guess. Nearly all 5 year old cars will be half their new price. Even the 'best' performers in this regard are only 55%-60% of their new price after 5 years. There are plenty of reasons people buy new ...

... Corolla, Mazda3 etc are at least $23000 in similar trim - youre looking at a $3500-$4000 (20% more!) difference even without spending the $1500 to get a 5 year warranty from Toyota or Mazda ... and they are a little smaller in size ... The Lancer is just that bit bigger and has the better warra...

Takes no more than five minutes on a cold morning before that blast of warm air kicks in. The query in this thread applies even with the engine warmed.

As this was the first thread I read when considering DRLs thought I'd post a couple of pics of the genuine DRLs installed. Happy with them, seem bright, dim when headlights on, point the right direction, etc. The dealer left the position lamps in, I understand that's incorrect? http://www.clubcj.net...

I've noticed the same thing on our 2015 model. Agree with your theory it's just the heating off seems to produce "cold" but it's not cooled, just normal air temp. In the morning here 23-24 blows warm air, but in the evening at that setting it's cool air. As others have said, I just put it ...

Welcome to the club! Love the colour of the lancer :) I do like the lightning blue! What's the advice with a new Lancer regarding paint care? Should I wax a new car, or is that a no-no? Post purchase read a horror thread on Whirlpool with lighting blue Lancers losing their clear coat. Or has that b...

Hello from Adelaide

Good afternoon all. We're the owners of a new ES Lancer Sport which we're loving so far. It joins our 2005 CH Lancer wagon, which has been a brilliant car, and a Corolla in the family. We trust the CJ will be just as a reliable as its siblings! We did have an ASC error at 35km, but the dealer was ex...
