Mine is about $500 through AAMI and I was quoted about $1500 for a RA, maybe next year I'll get some other quotes, suggestions?

Yeah the service costs with the auto are up there, lucky my (manual VRX) had its 90k service before I took delivery.

Maybe I need a better job, or more hours.

I still think I paid a good price for my VRX, although it is annoying to see some used RA only 3-4k more :( but for me the killer with a turbo is the higher running costs and insurance which is 3-4 times that of the VRX.

It shouldn't be a problem, what they do is remove the belts and inspect/measure the pulleys and stuff, replace any parts that need to be done, but in most cases they just replace the belts. For most it's a preventive measure and won't affect the life engine or the car. I haven't heard of any owners ...

Waking up this thread... I've seen the earthing cable kit as an option on new cars and I guess something you can get from Mitsubishi if you want later. As far as I know my 09 VRX doesn't have the kit but how can I check, I understand the genuine ones are more stealth install than the one above on th...

Well I want my CJ to be different, could done the easy thing an pay $50 for the factory front ones and been done with it. Besides if I get tired of them I'll take them off. Thing is being custom you can choose how big they are, if the stick out to protect the side of the car and how far they drop to...

I know the CC has some over ride features, like if you touch the brakes or clutch it deactivated. This is good when I'm going through road works where the traffic is free flowing at say 80, when I get to the end just drop back a gear and off I go. I know they have upgraded and added some features ov...

That would be great, I'm in no hurry to get this done. Rather do it right the first time. The plastics place can also engrave anything I want on them. Depending on cost I might do it. I am amazed there isn't more places that specialize in custom mud flaps where you get to choose the logo or writing ...
