Ouch. Worst place to get hit. Rear quarter panel. A real pain in the butt to fix. I feel your pain :(

Good luck with fixing it, and hopefully insurance won't stuff up your premiums. :)

I think it's a little too hard to explain without pictures/you being here to explain it. Perhaps if I can get a camera, I'll do a DIY guide?

Or someone in Sydney willing to help jack up the car so you can see where the drain/fill plugs are?

Calling Sydney members in the know :)

Mitsubishi uses a 75w-80/85 if I remember correctly. To directly match, you would probably go with Nulon Smooth Shift 75w-85. This is API GL4 fully synthetic and should do the job fine for daily driving. Two good performance alternatives are Nulon Performance Smooth Shift Fully Synthetic 75w-90 (4L ...

Bryan, Your manual transmission oil should have been replaced according to the service booklet at 45,000km. It should not be due until 90,000km? Unless it was not done at that service interval? Or unless you put plenty of load onto the transmission. However, if you do want to change the oil yourself...

The blue will not get you much extra distance. The more blue, the less penetration. Crystal Vision and Blue Vision both will get you only about the same or slightly more distance than your current stock bulbs. They are designed as such to do that duty, while providing a more pleasing to look at whit...

I agree with Ofey. No 2 dealerships use the same oil. It's whatever deal they can make with the oil supplier as to the cheapest oil they can supply that meets the specifications of Mitsubishi. Just as a note, any dealership that uses Magnetec Professional (Castrol) are using 15w-40, as with Halvolin...

Ok..... so aside from the rant on Germany being better than Australia in customer service and stuff (which is a known fact already)... Tyres regardless of where they are stored should be used within a time. The compounds in it change and harden as time goes by, and I don't think you have an environm...

Alright. Your best best is the XTreme Power headlights. +80% light and increased distance. With a slightly yellowish still light, but very bright and penetrating :)

How far do you want to go? :) An easy test is to leave bird poop on the paintowrk for a day or so, then wash it off. If the bird poop leaves a mark, then your paint protection has fully worn out :) ANother way is run your clean, dry and preferably oil free (because it has to be sensitive) hand over ...

Correct Troy.

Most dealers do a quick job of it, by sub contracting it to either MING (majority) or smaller companies (of which I know many of them).

This product however, as proven many times by many members on this forum, is 10,000X better than what the dealer uses, and actually lasts.

@ Rick.

Are you looking purely at further distance, or would you like the white/bluish look on the headlights?

Not a lot of places do brake disc machining. Also, grinding doesn't necessarily mean it needs machining.

If you want a brake machining specialist. Take your brake discs to SuperStop Brakes in Mont Albert.
