Re: * Mitsubishi OEM Parts for ClubCJ Members *

Should have remembered this thread.

I'm after the rain sensor 8634A109, for my 09 VRX. They are not cheap new and even used ones on eBay cost over $300.

Re: Rear Diffuser

Did one long interstate trip without the wing, no noticeable difference, its now back on.

Yes a ECU tune is on my list, getting the suspension sorted next week, then new tyres. New Optima Yellow Top battery also on the cards.

Re: Finally cracked 400,000 kms.

[Thankyou !! yes a lot of driving from the Gold Coast to Sydney over the years helped rack up the kms Since I got mine used I've done 3 interstate trips racking up over 25k km in total. Can't wait for Covid to be over and we can go for a trip to Adelaide again without fear of being locked out of QLD.

Re: Aircon randomly not working.

Well it depends on the availability of parts, at the time my old car was about 15yo, a popular Lancer model so lots of parts at wreckers at the time.

Re: Aircon randomly not working.

based on your description most likely the fan motor is faulty. replacement should not be too ex. Years ago I had similar with my Lancer coupe, got a place to 'rebuild' the motor, lasted about 6 months before it crapped out again, evened up finding one at a wreckers for half the rebuild cost, instal...

Re: Have you ever lost a brake pad?

Didn't realise I was a spambot? Just stating what I got and yes you don't need to spend a fortune on pads but when a set can be bought for half a tank of fuel you do wonder about the quality. BTW I would choose a slightly less aggressive pad then they ones I got, too sudden when cold and loads of br...
