Def don't run 91 on an RA. dangerous. 95 in emergency and don't boost it. If you really want to, you could downtune the RA to run on 91, but then what's the point of having one...

Run 95 and put some octane booster in just to be safe.

Honestly, I'd go RA. Yes, more people have RA's than a converted Lancer, but there is a reason. :) Even if you have a 4B11T in there with a TD05 making 220kw atw, you would have trouble putting it all to the ground without loss of traction and torque steer. I've done this trip about 4 times now in the last 13 years... All of them with a 3.5l V6 Magna. Always make sure you got fluids with you for drinking... a battery jumpstarter, spare wheel and tools for it, warm clothing as it gets freezing out there during winter at night / early morning.. trust me....
