Re: Window seals
Yup, wouldn't mind replacing mine, they are easy to remove, just don't have the money to buy new ones if they are gonna be super expensive. Could probably try a wreckers.

Re: Pay as you go Future?
GPS monitoring in cars for "how far we travel" is just a scapegoat for them getting the real monitoring policies through. Once the technology is in all the cars (and mandatory too, will probably have to be retrofitted into old cars), they will slowly increase the scope. "Oh your insur...

Re: Dash and trim light installation
Yeah, if you haven't done any PCB soldering before (and this will all be surface mount too, probs not any through-hole, which is easier), then I wouldn't attempt it yourself without a lot of practice beforehand. A tiny mistake and you can mess up the whole component. Definitely gonna need a solder e...

Re: RA vs NA?
I tend to go to 5000 RPM a lot too, I find it a better RPM for shifting up smoothly without having to consciously match revs (in the manual VRX obvs).

Re: RA vs NA?
I haven't driven a RA or anything with the SST, but I hated driving the CVT, and I'm not a fan of standard automatics. Though the SST has duel clutch so it's bound to be better. My girlfriend has an automatic 2003 Astra TS, and I hate that thing. It's a pain to change the brake pads (7mm hex key, lo...

Re: 2012+ Led mirrors
How easy would it be to match the colour Craig? The red I have is probably harder to match than the black you have

Re: 2012+ Led mirrors
Yeah I've seen those retrofitted ones, it's interesting but I'm not sure if I can be bothered :P though that sort of stuff IS my field, so I doubt it's beyond my abilities, it's more just time and doing a good job. If these were in my colour, I'd probably buy them from you, but I don't really want t...

Yeah they do look nice, I don't really have the money for them atm, and would have to get them repainted anyway. Kinda chasing the electric folding ones

Yeah, if anything I'd say mine is behind the head unit towards the drivers side, so could be a result of my repeatedly removing and reinstalling my headunit haha

Re: Can the OBD2 be hack remotely?
Yeah, no one's gonna hack it, the only power it receives when engine is off is to drive the LED (if it has one), and chances of someone hacking the car while you're driving is pretty slim. Mitsubishi won't care that you've got one, but yeah if you take it in for a service and leave it in, make sure ...

Yeah I've got some rattles more recently but not sure if it's only since I took it in for the indicator recall.
