Re: New member from Brisbane

Took the car back to the shop and had to wait a day while they changed the aftermarket parts. Drive the car home and then decide to put on the hazard lights just for fun as I have never used them before. Lo and behold the headlight they used has a blown bulb for the indicator. I take it back the nex...

Re: New member from Brisbane

Bought a can of Dupli-Color Custom Wrap and tested it on the back bumper. I had to get a brush and paint in some bits to make it look straighter but I'm happy with it. Gives the car a much more sportier look. http://i.imgur.com/R0z2oe7l.jpg Was moments away from setting up the car to paint the front...

Re: Lancer Ralliart for P plater with Exemption

The Ralliart that I am considering says it has been on the written-off vehicle register. The price seems way lower than the other ralliart's of that year around me (probably to do with the fact it is a repaired write off). Is it still worth having a look at and anything that I should be cautious off...

Re: Lancer Ralliart for P plater with Exemption

The year of the lancer doesn't really concern me since they don't change much each year. Its just annoying that the only low km 2009 ralliart near me has the same asking price as a 2013 one. Both of which have around 50,000kms and the 2013 ralliart has satnav. From reading the QLD transport site it ...

Lancer Ralliart for P plater with Exemption

I am considering buying a Lancer Ralliart and applying for a Moderately Powered Turbo/Supercharged Car - P Plater Exemption . I have a few questions about it. Its my understanding that you don't need a reason to get a Moderately Powered Exemption. Is that true? A QLD form that I found on the interne...

Re: New member from Brisbane

Got my car back and everything is as perfect as can be.
Debating whether I should vinyl wrap the interior silver trim of the car carbon fiber, as I am trying to sell the car. No idea how long it will be before it sells or if I find a good auto vrx at a dealer to trade it in for.

Re: New member from Brisbane

Thats good to know about the MY08's.

I am not sure if I want manual or auto yet, as I have never driven manual yet and would like to have experience in one before I buy a manual car. I should have access to a manual car soon though, to see if manual is all the fun people say it is.

Re: New member from Brisbane

I live on the west side. South-west to be more precise. The VRX appeals to me because of all the features that set it apart from the base ES. Most noticeably the 18" rims, keyless start and paddle shifters if I go CVT. At the moment I only have an Auto license as I never had any manual cars to ...

New member from Brisbane

Hi, I'm new to ClubCJ. I just received my Red P's a couple of weeks ago and I drive my Dads white lancer hatchback (He just got a GTS 86). Only a week after my Red P's I was involved in accident (nothing serious, low speed, just a case of someone not looking when driving onto a road). Insurance has ...
