Would you even feel this on the road?

The dyno chart shows 2 power runs in succession with the system fitted for BOTH runs (its customary to do 3 when power testing!). The stock 4b12 has approx 100kw @ wheels from factory!!

What type of manual transmission oil is specified for the 5speed boxes? Is it normal gear oil or something special?

Re: NA CJ Lancer Servicing Complete Thread

Normal service interval on the NA cars is 12 months or 15k. There is an optional 6 month 7,500k service. This intermediate service is not required to keep you in compliance for warranty. It's still not a bad idea to change the oil and filter in between services.Hope this helps. So the 7500klm optio...

Re: NA CJ Lancer Servicing Complete Thread

All of the previous service history (before i bought it) was done at the 15000km intervals by the book. The service book now says at 48mths a C service schedule is due & it clearly states oil & filter to be changed every 7500klm at top of C schedule! Having been factory serviced i thought th...

Re: NA CJ Lancer Servicing Complete Thread

I was looking through my service manual as my car has reached 48mths & service alarm has gone off. The manual says at 48mths its due for an A & C maintenance schedule. Near the top of the C service schedule it says to replace engine oil & filter every 7500klm! Does this mean that once th...

Re: Intakes

Not sure if anyone makes an Aftermarket intake manifold for the lancers, being plastic you probably wouldn't want to mess around with it from a porting stand-point ( plastic is very fragile). As for Throttle-bodies, there are options to fit larger ones (RPW sell them) but they are rather expensive. ...

Re: Fitment of fuel catalysts

I will post details of how to modify throttle bodies in the performance thread! The extractors I fitted were the 4-2-1 set from the guys at RPW as these where the only ones I could find in australia at the time!

Fitment of fuel catalysts

Hi guys, I am new to the CJ Lancer club but have been in the performance industry for over 25 years as a qualified motor-mechanic and a specialist head-porter/flow-tester. I recently made the jump from Ozi muscle car to rice-burner after selling my 300HP N/A 6cylinder LH Torana and buying a 2012 Lan...
