Re: 2009 Ralliart Hatchback

That blue is really an amazing colour and it's a sad sight to see such a gorgeous car go.
Bound to happen to us all eventually though, as mine will be up for sale within the coming months as well.

Good luck with the sale and the family.

Re: Looking for a value :)

A bit dear I reckon, see if you can get it down to the low to mid 9k's! Like someone else said it is nearly a 10 year old car now even though it is still the current shape! If you look around you may find a slightly newer VRX around the same price Looking around should always be an open option when...

Re: Looking for a value :)

Very much stock VR-X with decently with around 10k traveled per year. As long as the services have been carried out on time by a Mitsubishi service centre I don't believe you will have an issue with it. With a current roadworthy and full rego it may be worth the 10 mark they're asking. I personally ...

Re: 2011 Lancer VRX - Welcome & Body Kit Questions

The only time I'll purchase a fibreglass piece is if it has been recommended by a large number of people or if I can physically test fit the piece before purchase. Bit of a shit to fix any errors with the piece IMO. EDIT: Looking at the facebook page of the seller they seem to have some nice custom ...

Re: is this worth it?

Do you need them? The snorkel is nice but I personally don't find strut bars detrimental to daily driving to and a from work for example. You can buy a genuine snorkel for around $130-150 AU if you look hard enough. Strut braces usually go for a around $180-220 AUD depending on the brand and type. U...

Re: Wrecked EVO X or RA bonnet

There is a replica available from sterling parts. $540 unpainted. Assumed to be steel. Then you have to buy the vent garnishes. I am surprised that someone will repair a hail damaged aluminium bonnet. Must be a euro specialist. I did it myself. Lots of time as I'd never done that before but it's be...

Re: Wrecked EVO X or RA bonnet

Open your search to outside of Melbourne. Evolution Racing Spares in Sydney would have a few I'd wager. Don't expect to pay sub $5-600 though. They're worth a fair amount. I was lucky and purchased mine that had hail damage off a fellow ClubCJ member for $300. Lot of work has gone into it to making ...

Re: THE SILENT MAJORITY!!!

Just leave it up. Being inactive doesn't mean being useless. Even though $40 is barely anything, you could always set up a tip jar/donation feature that allows others to put towards it. I'm sure a few of us would be happy to help out. I can see why that would be avoided on a low activity forum though.

Re: Wrapping Interior Trim

First time wrapping is fine and so is taking your time. It's not a race. Do your research and watch a couple of tutorials. The only place I would think first timers would have issues with are some of the stronger curves without proper preparation. The far right side of the main dash trim that runs f...

Re: THE SILENT MAJORITY!!!

I think a majority of forum users in general don't have a need to post on every single thread they open. There's a shitload of information on this forum with hundreds, if not thousands of questions that have already been answered. I'd wager most people come through who are new here will use the sear...
