Re: Ralliart Exterior
I don't imagine a wrecker would ask for a VIN haha, they don't care as long as they can sell the part

Re: Ralliart Exterior
Yeah, it certainly looks nice with dual exit. In that case, it's been done a few times by people here on the forums, with varying success in terms of the rear bumper/diffuser. Just use the search option and you shouldn't have any problems.
Here's one thread on the Mars Performance bumper.

Re: Ralliart Exterior
I was actually somewhat mistaken, the RA front bumper, while similar, requires a lot of different parts such as different fog lights, different undertray, etc. As for the rear bumper, I'm not really too sure, I would imagine it would fit on the same and shouldn't have anything in the way. You can ge...

Re: FS - 2010 VRX Stock Head Unit and Fascia
I'll be keeping mine around in a box, I know I won't get a whole lot for it even with the 6 stacker, so I'm not bothered to sell it. I have a box of stock parts for my car that I'll be keeping.

Re: Lancer Ralliart for P plater with Exemption
Shouldn't it have the indicators on the mirrors if it's an MY14? Or were they an option or only in MY15?

Re: Thoughts on this RA?
Just from what I've read on here, I'd inquire as to when the transmission was last serviced and the state of the transmission. Going from my experience with my 09 VRX (~140000kms) you'd probably want to have the steering gear (tie rods, CV joints etc.) at least inspected. It really depends on how th...

Re: Car Audio Wiring
If no one lets you know before I pull apart my dash next time, I'll trace the reverse trigger for my HU to see which wire it is might be a while though.

Re: Is the CJ still a safe car?
Took my car in for a recall today, as I was leaving some woman was bringing her ASX in and trying to park next to me, there was heaps of room because they were wide bays and neither me or the car on the other side were close to the line. Yet she stopped and looked at me and told me that she didn't t...

Re: Bluetooth issue
I gave up on the bluetooth in my 09 VRX, did not want to work with my Xperia Z2, as soon as a paired it it would disconnect and never reconnect again unless I went through pairing again. Not worth the headache in the end, in my opinion. I think it uses an older version on bluetooth that doesn't work...

Re: General Insurance Question
Yeah, that's definitely true, if I end up in that situation I'll be demanding they at least allow me to wipe it, as it is a privacy concern. It's essentially "personal belongings" in my eyes.

Re: General Insruance Question
Man, that's such a scummy thing. It should be if you still have the stock parts and it's not going to take you ages to swap them, you can. My car insurance was quoted when the car had stock radio, etc. Should be able to return it to that state before they take it away.

Also, I don't know that a car yard will even let you test drive a manual without a manual license!

Re: New member from Brisbane
Damn, unfortunate to have an accident on your red P's. It would be worth looking at an insurance quote for the VRX before you go with that, because it could be the difference due to your accident (even if you weren't at fault, doesn't matter). While the insurance for the VRX shouldn't be TOO much hi...
