Re: SST clutch slipping or just needs new fluid
You can't break anything by doing a teach in. If it errors on anything you know there could be something going on with it. If they have a custom sst firmware on it maybe thats the culprit. Lots of guys are upping the pressures to much and causing issues. I have a build sst and mines running approx 5...

Re: SST clutch slipping or just needs new fluid
I always thought a teach in was meant to be done after a fluid change. I was having issues after my rebuild of sst, it was coming up service sst. I done a teach in and its been great for a year now

Re: SST clutch slipping or just needs new fluid
Has it had the sst mod done? Highly recommend it. Mine is running a firmware from RP motorsport. Ak racing do a remote install service. Also it can be purchased from Evoscan. I have a built SST too. Secondly if you have Evoscan and a Tactrix you can log clutch slip within the software. Maybe you cou...

Re: u1415 code when replacing instrument cluster
Maybe contact the facebook page MMCodingwriter and ask the question there, the users on there are really switched on with ETACs coding and the software can change the vin code within the odometer. Re: Replace Instrument Cluster
I havent ever tried to change odometer values, I dont think it can be done via MMCodiingwriter, I think its coded into the chip within the cluster

Re: Replace Instrument Cluster
I think you need to edit the VIN number within the cluster, Maybe there is also a slight incompatibility with the cluster to the car. But with not actually swapping one Im not sure

Re: Side mirror motor replacement
Its not as easy as just changing the mirrors, you need to change the mirror switch on the door, the wiring in the car has to be there including the relays. Also the etacs has to be enabled to allow the power fold. Asx/outlander mirrors are different (well my 2020 ASX mirrors are different) to my 201...

Lufi XS obd2 gauge
Hi just thought I would post this up. I grabbed one of these Lufi XS gauges. It can have custom pid installed to allow us to see sst temp etc. It also has lots of different screens you can customise. I grabbed mine from Ebay, but can be pruchased on lots of sites. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1258022...

Re: enable horn chirp/honk
I was using the mut software with a tactrix open port and the mut3 driver that gets around having to use a mut-3 adaptor.

Re: enable horn chirp/honk
You may be able to set those features via the etacs. MMcoding writer is safe, I always save a backup incase. I already purchased the mut 3 driver from him. I had to use the latest mut-3 software as the ASX is 2020 model. To be honest doing it via the mut 3 software and mut-3 driver was faster and ea...

Re: enable horn chirp/honk
I found this on an evo forum but I have no idea what model lancer it would work for -----Copied from the forum----- To make the horn sound once, hold the LOCK button for like 5 seconds. While the LOCK button is still held down, hold down the UNLOCK button for about 2 seconds. Then release the UNLOCK...

Re: Headlight adjustment
They are adjusted together. I don’t think the Lancer headlights are suitable for led. It’s important the light element is in the correct position as the headlights reflect the light forward. Using different globes omits the lights in a different position causing the light not be be focused correctl...

Re: ASX side mirror on lancer
I would think the plug inside the car may be different also, you would have to get the wires from the side indicators to the mirror.
