Re: New member need advice with Rockford Issue

Make sure you have the amp turn on wire connected. When I installed Kenwood DVD into my wife's car the amp wasn't working and hooked up amp wire from Kenwood to the Aerpro Can bus kit there should be a wire on the MIT002

Re: iPhone 8 which plan to get?

Last year I purchased the iPhone 7 plus outright and went to Telstra with a byo mobile plan and pay $50 for unlimited calls and text with 5Gb +2gb bonus for contract of 24 months.. I found it more cost effective to buy the phone and do it that way. At the end of contract go buy new iPhone 8s/9 plus ...

Re: Hardwire Dash Camera?

I have hooked the acc power up in two different ways the Evo X I used the front cigarette lighter socket (was a real pain to get to the wires) and also in my wife's VRX used the acc socket located in the compartment behind cup holders under arm rest. (much easier to get to just pop out the cup holde...

Re: Ceramic Clear Coating

OT - I did a sill thing yesterday when filling up, there was a tiny bit of fuel spill and I didn't wash it off. Noticed a mark/stain when washing it today, about 24 hours later. Would not wipe off :( I have now used some bug remover stuff and its removed most of it, will check it in the morning and...

Re: LED Footwell lights

If you don't want cheap maybe buy the plug and play kit from Mitsubishi.. Its around the $300 mark though. I have that kit installed in my Evo X and it works just as good as some $5 led strips from Ebay I fitted to my wife's VRX CJ Lancer. In my honest opinion just grab some ones off Ebay. LEDs don'...

Re: Stop seat belt chime ????

You may be able to disable the chime within the etacs. Maybe if you can find someone with a cable and Etacs decoder they can try to disable it for you. I dont think this can be done. Depending on the age of the ETACS module it may be able to be done there is an option that allows the changing of th...

Re: Tow Bar Setup Advice

Tag kit has to be wired in and you have to run a wire to the other light.. ie if you choose to wire most of the wires on the left side you will still need to run wire to the right hand indicator.

Re: OEM gear knob and hand brake change.

Gear knob was two seconds to install. The handbrake cover was quick heat up of old cover with hair dryer to make glue pliable then remove. To install new one was to grub screws underneath. I think the car needs short shifter now.

Re: Help with Wireless Reverse Camera Receiver

For the receiver in the front you will need to find the reverse wire in the main harness at the front of the car. Also that wire will need to be hooked up to the dvd player to trigger the camera to come up on the screen when it goes into reverse.
