I know exactly what you mean with the screen glare on the dash. When the sun is at a particular angle (able to shine directly down onto the steering wheel arm) the plastic screen cover reflects the light completely, blocking the view of the dash. Very annoying. I wonder if a 10% tint at the top of t...

It absolutely does not matter whether or not you have the letter. I'm the 3rd owner of my car, I bought it like a month ago, wayyyy after the recall letter. I called Mits dealer, told them my Rego (not even VIN!) and they booked my appointment. Any official Mits dealer refusing to perform this work ...

Looking for specific headlights, plz halp

Hey All, CCJ user Hengapong recently showed his new headlights in the "What did you do on your car today?" thread http://www.clubcj.net/img/images/1424505253_DSC_0360.JPG http://www.clubcj.net/img/images/1424505253_DSC_0347.JPG They got them from Thailand when they went there recently. Hen...

Yeah, i've got one of those already to charge my phone. But then there's the whole separate issue with the RCA's being shielded poorly. I get mad interference on AUX with something plugged in to any 12V plug. I plan on hiding it and borrowing power from something else. I guess I can disassemble one ...

Well it's bad that it happened in the first place, but it's good that you're now aware of it. Would you rather you drive around not knowing? haha

I was thinking of using something like this:

simpler, cheaper.

Only prob is it's a 5v input. I'll keep looking for a 12v.

You'll probably have to. Call your local mistubishi dealer. They'll ask for your rego, and tell you if you need to or not.

Just to add to your Sydney experience alex, I called Zetland last week (my nearest) and they had an appointment for me in about 2 weeks. I haven't had the appointment, yet, so can't speak for their quality.

Yeah it would have to be a pretty tough little spring to do that. Let me know if you find the right one.

Do you know how much of the inner shaft is protruding when completely closed? Might be able to have a spring resting around the inner shaft with it's base on-top of the cylinder. Looks like I'm putting my gf in the boot to take a picture!

I agree on both those points. It's hard to tell if you're on Auto mode for wipers or lights cos they're behind the wheel.

Cruise sometimes kicks in when I set it and other times doesn't. Still getting the feel for it. The only way to tell if it worked is to let off the accelerator!

Better Boot Gas Struts

Hey All, the VRX lancer boot is lame to try and open. Nowhere to put fingers, heavy boot etc. There's struts installed to keep the boot open. I'm wondering if anyone has (or knows of) an alternative , more powerful strut solution, to lift the boot open for me. It means the boot will be harder to clo...

Yeah, I don't bother with the remote. My pockets are always so full cards/keys/etc that it's easier to just open it with my hand.
