Re: What did you do today?

Yesterday went the Gold Coast and on the way back spotted this idiot on the M1 Burpengary at 5:44pm doing a 'bit' over the speed limit.

Now using the original footage I figure the rego is 473CA, which is a 2008 Suzuki GSX1400.

Re: 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer SX

I've got some slight sun marks on my 09 VRX with stock head lights.

How did you clean them?

Re: Driving Lights

Just adding to this topic with this... https://unsealed4x4.com.au/heard-thats-illegal-driving-lights/ Its a breakdown of the current rules when it comes to driving lights, no matter what form they come in. For example I didn't realise you're 'limited' to no more than 4 lights on the front of the car...

Re: 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer SX

Looks nice.

Too hot here today to do anything outside, mid 30's and over 75% humidity. But I washed my VRX yesterday at 5:30 am and finished off the wheels today.

Re: MY09 Lancer VR-X

Yeah thats just an invite for the police to pull you over! Best solution is just paint it, either get a few can's of matching paint or get a quote from a panel shop, take it off and they can do all the hard work for maybe $300. Personally I'd DIY it and paint it black, then do the roof and bonnet to...

Re: Folding Electric Mirrors

I love doing mods like this, thinking outside the box and something simple to get it to work.

Still would love some auto folding mirrors but like others have covered its no as easy as getting some off a late model CJ and swapping them over.

Re: Folding Electric Mirrors

Never really noticed but you're talking about the mirror, not the housing right? I thought with electric they are be universal and you'd adjust them to suit?

Re: * Mitsubishi OEM Parts for ClubCJ Members *

LOL thats my current 'solution'.

Been thinking of using a plastic tub cut to size or even making something in fibre glass, but never done anything like that before.

Re: Folding Electric Mirrors

I still find it amazing in 2018 that Mitsubishi doesn't make auto folding mirrors standard in the CF, don't the cheap Lancer still have a red centre info section, not full color? Whats the diff between the LHD and RHD mirrors? With other things this is one mod I've not found the need or money for, b...

Re: Driving Lights

I have two thoughts about any nudge type bar, safety and ground clearance. Ground Clearance - was an issue with the nudge bar I had on my Lancer Coupe, I removed it years before I sold the car but it was good back in the day. Apart from occasionally grounding out on steep driveways. I guess no worse...

Re: Driving Lights

Are you sure? Looks to me like the lower guard is attached to the bar holding the lights. Either there are 2 items or one large bar set up attached at 2 points including under the car. Saw this Subaru with a similar setup. http://www.autocityimports.com//images/products/rally-innovations-bugeye-skid...

Re: * Mitsubishi OEM Parts for ClubCJ Members *

Dumb question but I Googled MR936219 and one of the first things to come up is 'Mitsubishi Lancer Full Size Spare Wheel Fitting Kit' now is this the raised floor kit or the foam thing that goes inside the middle of the spare wheel to hold your jack and tools? I only ask as I've been looking for some...

Did this B&W one from our Adelaide trip in 2016. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y263/lancer1993/MyCar/CJAdelaide-11May2016-01.jpg Also not so much PS by this nice 30 sec time exposure of my old Coupe a couple of years ago. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y263/lancer1993/MyCar/coupe-09sep2014-...

Re: Driving Lights

Just saw this online, now wondering if there is anyway to make something like it for a CJ?
