Re: Proximity Key Boot Issue?

Most times I've only had to press once, sometimes keeping my finger pressed for a couple of seconds.

I'll keep and eye on it, worked okay today.

Side note I have a minor change to the dash cams wiring to do tomorrow.

Proximity Key Boot Issue?

Something weird is happening with my boot, the proximity thing is not working some times. I press the button on the boot and it won't work, do this 2-3 times before it opens. I've tried both keys and the same thing is happening. Now the only work I've had done recently is having the dash cams wired ...

Re: Mod ideas and tips

Do decals count, got racing stripes on my CJ and with other yellow bits it kinda stands out in the shopping car park. Actually followed a police car the other day, they didn't stop me :)

Re: Is the CJ still a safe car?

Safety is one thing but I agree with so many safety systems on modern cars drivers are becoming too reliant and lazy. Just look in the US so many drivers don't wear seat belts because they think the airbags will save them if they crash, which is simply untrue. I have no doubt autonomous braking will...

Thanks for the link.

Always has and no, doubt it always will

Debatable, if the CJ/CF was tested under the current rules without autonomous braking it would do 4 stars at best.

Got the dash cams wired up to be on 24/7, now when I park it will go into parking mode until it detects movement or is shocked.

Re: Replacing stock Snorkel with RA

Yes
Not an oil soaked airfilter

Try eBay, GumTree and wreckers for them.

Also there is plenty of info on this topic already posted, do a search for it. :)

And welcome to the forum.

Re: Louder horn for CJ?

One of my first mods was a couple of Hella's... maybe not as loud as an air horn but still a step above the stock horns.

And they look great!

Re: 2015 Side Mirror Markers fit on older model?

Thanks for the great reply. Just wondering if the relay is needed for manual power fold? Meaning you put in the mirrors and switch and power fold is just via the button and not when you lock the car. Like I said got an auto electrician coming this week to install the battery saver for my dash cams s...
