It broke the screw mount off.

A new one is $28. Ordered and picking up next week. I have made a new bracket up to replace the screw mount, so all is now good.

tadz0rz Sorry to hear about your CJ. Hope everything works out. Remember one thing, it's your car, you paid or are paying for it and what you do to it only has to meet your approval and that's all that matters. I would love to have a RA bumper or bonnet. And the members that have offered to help you...

Fog Light Surround - Broken

I'm wondering if anyone knows how much a fog light surround is worth.

I hit a bird today on the left gof light and it broke the surround, which then fell out and is no where to be seen.

Are they forsale? If so, how much?

I won't have any extra money until Late Feb/March. (Xmas/kids/holidays)

At least that gives her time to damage the right side.

fingernail scratches - got those too - but I wax under the door handles after I wash the car and it seems to help.

I wouldn't mind too much, but the car is just over 2 months old and it's my pride and joy. It's been over 15 years since my last brand new car.

My wifes damage tally for Nov - Bad month for my CJ

My wife (the poor car) has had a really bad month. 1. scratched (bad) all the front air-dam - drove into a ditch 2. Left rear rim hit, 3 inch long scratch - she doesn't know what she hit. 3. Rear bumper damaged when she reversed into another car (only half her fault, other car was reversing as well)...

Also good to hear from someone in the local area. I think I've seen your car in the car park near Eagle Boys Pizza.

ABS and Brake Assist.......TESTED!!!

Thanks to ABS and Brake Assist, My CJ is in one piece. But my pride is shattered. The Story.... While entering a small single lane roundabout, I didn't see the ute entering from my right (not sure if the pillar was blocking my view or I'm just getting old). By the time I saw it, I was a foot or two ...

Not even in the lap, that's just Bull^%$#.

That might explain why Nokia has been bundling the holder when you buy a phone with GPS in it.

Better off throwing the phone in the boot and using the bluetooth handfree.(when it works)

VRX pete, stick it to'em. Get what you can out of them. Don't forget the tank of fuel. I forgot about the fuel and had to fill up five minutes after leaving dealer or I wouldn't have made it home.
But don't leave it too late if there is a price rise coming.

And Welcome!!!

Had the 1500km service on Friday and the dealer had the tint replaced on the drivers window. Had to wait 48hrs before using the window but I'll seems ok at present. The wife picked the car up and of course she didn't ask if they did anything to the door or just replaced the tint. So as usual I'll ha...
