Damn, I haven't been on the site for a while and Aspley is literally just down the road for me!!

Was quite busy this weekend trying to clear out the garage to make room for our new triton coming this week (it's gonna look like a mitsu garage at our place till we sell off our paj!)

At least we get a better spec lancer than the UK variant...they have the choice of a 1.5L or 1.8L pertrol engine or a 2.0L diesel engine (2.0L petrol on the Ralliart/Evo only), they have no auto wipers or lights, no smart key, and upgraded audio only on the Ralliart model. Plus the base model is ove...

Hey,

I might be interested in this, only trouble is my boyf drove my car to work today and parked it against a fence post and now there's some damage, a re-vinyl and chrome surround should cover the scrapes so it's not too bad just heartbreaking to see horrible black scrapes on your pride and joy!

My dad gave me one of the best bits of advice when I was learning, he said to always think that every other driver on the road is an idiot and to assume they're always going to do something stupid. Also the UK learner driver recently introduced a 'hazard perception' test where you identify potential...

Cheers for the replies everyone, will ask a friend if they can take it out occasionally as it seems to be the best option....don't want to be stranded at home with a dead car after holiday!!

I've got a question...... I go on holiday and my car will be sitting in the garage for 8 weeks not being used. What should I do to it before I go? For example leave it in gear with the handbrake off so it doesn't seize? Or does that not happen with modern day cars? Anyone have any recommendations or...

Here's one the other way around.....I paid for my boyfriends ('our') Pajero so that he didn't have to go back into debt after selling the clubby and just about getting rid of the huge loan on it.

He'll pay for all the mods tho and that'll make it even

Hey, Just wondering if there is actually an alarm on the lancer, just spent the weekend away with the Pajero's and on the newer ones (08/09) even the base models have an alarm installed, you just have to 'activate' it......eg turn the ignition, left indicator..... sounds like putting in a game conso...

How do you know whether you have a MMCS unit? Or is that the big sat nav type unit?

Hey!

I have the Rockford Fosgate system with the red/white-3.5mm MP3 player auxillary input, is this different to the MZ360221EX - MMCS iPod Cable? If so where abouts does this cable plug into and is it the type that charges your ipod and controls the ipod from the stereo unit?

Cheers
