Re: Help buying Ralliart

Oh and the 2nd issue is if you're ever thinking of getting a tow bar for a small trailer then you can't with the RA, the SST is not suitable and they just don't make a tow bar kit for the RA. The SST is fitted to the outlander diesel of similar era. They put a ECU controled fan on the stand alone c...

Re: Help buying Ralliart

So the ideal RA to get is MY11 or better, got it. The cheapest EVO still cost about double a cheap RA I've seen. I bought a MY08 Ralliart from a dealer about 6 months ago and everything has been sweet. Transmission feels nice and tight; i Bought a 3 year warranty from the dealer which also covers t...

What Engine oil did you use at your last service? did you put any engine oil additive? did you use an engine flush? Did you buy a Demo? Just curious. Could be one or more of these combinations. Lancer Engines are pretty much bullet proof. I am calling dealer bullshit, or one of the above questions I...

Try your spare key.

I have had this before, but it was only because the key's immobiliser chip was not properly contacting the key barrel's chip.

Hope it works!

5-30 is ok. Its actually good for fuel consumption. The thicker one (5-40) does not thin and squeeze out of the turbo assembly as easy under enthusiastic driving. So, I would say it is a good all rounder to have 5-40.
Royal Purple has the 10-40 and i found that very good for when i had my evo 7.

If you drive sedately then FULL synthetic 5-40 is a great choice. If you track it though, then you should go 10w-50 or even 10w-60.

Here is what i dont quite fancy about the Lancer: 1. Switching to Aux everytime i start the car. 2. How the avg fuel and speed data resets. I prefer to monitor my fuel usage by the tankful. 3. lack of lumbar support for the back on the ES seats. Anyone selling their RA/VRX seats? LOL 4. Handbrake po...

New to Forum.. Hello - VRX257

Hi guys, I am new to this forum and this is my story. I have recently purchased a second hand Lancer ES Sportback. It is Stock Standard, in Electric Blue and with CVT. I have plans to upgrade to VR-X (or even enkei Magna VR-X if they fit) rims when my tyres run out, add a rear sunshade spoiler and b...
