It's four corners, when do they not sound serious?

Blue tooth does not transmit very far, how on earth could anything track you that way?

You can sleep safely at night, those cameras are certainly not tracking your mobile Steve

I would not be going off that site, until the legislation is brought into effect it can still be changed.

Wait to see what the government finally says, after all they are the ones who will be deciding the final rules and regs, and the ones who will be enforcing it.

It will come down to each particular state and also there are separate rules for p platers.

You could always check with your local vehicle registration authority to see if you can drive one or not, that would be the best bet :)

If you can, enjoy the ride.....if you can't......bugger

Yes and yes, some are mounted on over head bridges and gantries, and others mounted on vehicles such as police cars, sherif cars, taxi directorate vehicles and also others like the RTA and Vic roads cars....

From what I hear both Ralliart and evo x will not be available to P platers....as is now. It's just more for lower power smaller vehicles which will have a turbo say on a Diesel engine.

One other thing, the system does not track your plate, it just records the place it was checked.....it does not follow you around lol. It just reads your plate

This technology has been around for quite sometime and is in use one qld, nsw and vic and wa......it will also be installed at every major airport here in Australia for security and safety. I think it's a good thing, the data base can be loded to look for specific plates of interest.....for example ...
