Take it and get a 2nd opinion, if they prove that the tyres are not legal, then I would be going back with the certificate to the dealer. If the car was passed if it is indeed not roadworthy, then the inspector can get in a lot of trouble.

Have you called the dealer? This is what should be done first and foremost before asking for help. They sold it to you, and you need to give them the opportunity to rectify the issue first. If, this doesn't resolve the issue, then perhaps you could contact your local regulation body MTA or the like....

Here is a link to photos taken by one of the XR5 guys. He is a pro photographer, so they are very good.

Make sure you credit him.

It is a facebook link, so you will need an account to view.

I have heard of cases of DIY servicing and warranty being approved.

Make sure you keep all receipts related to the service, even staple them in your book.

There is always going to be a chance that they won't cover it and you will have to fight it.

Something that may interest you if you are not confident playing around with your ECU yourself, may be to contact Merlin.

He is NSW based, but the pricing of his tunes are much cheaper than a tuning shop. He does it more for the love of it! Would be cheaper to fly him up and back than use a shop.

If I am doing a full detail on the paint I usually do the following: Snow foam using a gerni and snowfoam lance / solution from carcare products. Machine polish using a Ryobi Ran...

Alright, I had forgotten about this, with all the other stuff going on in my life at the moment! Apologies for that. The 6 participants have a PM in their inbox, with payment details. This will be to the club account. Once everyone has paid, I will have Pete and Chris pay the organiser of the track ...
