Passenger side glove box area, and somewhere near/behind the stereo. The creek at the back is a new one but with only 3000kms on the car I wasn't expecting that new feature... The rear creek I suspect to be the swaybar or spring as its only when the chassis twists when driving up onto driveways or w...

Sounds very similar :D I've had two CJ's in just over a year and they both rattle in these exact same places..I thought maybe the 1st one wasn't put together too well but the second one is just the same. Same rattles different car. But the new 2010 model comes with better rattle options. I've also g...

Also, not sure how write off works, given my agreed value is 55000, and a brand new RA you can get for say 40 grand drive away and with all of my options fittered, are they going to give me the car and plus $15000 difference in cash or what?? how does it work?? What if they put on everything i have...

You may be right but have you thought the other vehicle is also insured with NRMA? Thats exactly what I was thinking.... I've just found out that from a legal point of view if they have deemed your car unroadworthy (due to the atmospheric BOV) regardless of where the blame lies they ARE fully entit...

Holy cow mate, glad you walked away, thats the main thing. Make sure you get some pics up when you can. It might not be as bad as you think. Regarding the BOV. I've never heard such BS in all my life... Generally the reason why they will not honour a claim legally is if non declared parts where a di...

Sounds like you've a dud battery mate. If its not holding charge and there is no drain then its the Battery Cells. You'll find the cold weather was shown its weak hence why its giving bother now.

New battery time!

Just check with Mitsubishi as its probably a warranty job too.

Cheers

Folks don't forget that your car will run much better on 95 than on 91. It'll be more responsive and return better kms/litre. You'll find that the 7 cents per litre will offset with the better fuel economy. So you'll have nothing to worry about.

I don't think that moving to QLD is the reason why your premium is so cheap. I was with GIO and when I went to shop around I found the NRMA where $700 cheaper than GIO's renewal. I talked to GIO about price matching and they simply couldn't come close. I suspect NRMA are simply very competitive at t...
