20/20 vision and I still found that 20% on the front was too way to dark in un-lite areas. Found myself everytime having to drop the window just to be able to see the apex of most bends or even the white line. My car now has 35% and its perfect! Doesn't match the back but being able to see at night ...

Unfortunately you're between a rock and a hard place. You were at fault, your car was technically illegal at the time of the accident and you had to fight for them to even accept/process the claim. Sounds like you'll have to bite your tongue on this and stop rocking the boat. Be thankful they are fi...

I know exactly how this feels. Our dog had a fit several months ago and we had to rush him to the vet at 1am on a Friday night. Unfortunately he lost bodily function control several times on the way to the vet s**t and p*ssed all over the back seats (even tho we had towels down they can only catch s...

i know shamrock, i`m on it :) i`m seeing the assessor tomorrow and will certainly bring that up. that c shape is the chassis mounting point i believe. judging by the cannon, the bar has been punched in about 3 inches. Here is what is behind the bar when the body work is removed. You can kinda see w...

holy cow mate. That mark on the bar is your chassis leg! I'd get that to a body shop ASAP. You may have done more damage than you think.

Yes the old loan will have to be paid out and a new loan applied for with the new car. Your current car is calateral for the loan, so the loan must be paid. . I too thought this was the case too but when my car was written off 3 months ago with a very significant finance outstanding they simply cha...

Absolutely right folks. You need to take a step back mate. Your car is in good hands and it will be sorted as soon as the paperwork exercise is sorted. Jumping up and down unfortuantely doesn't help (hinders if anything). Be nice to this guy too as he holds all the cards and is doing to a favour by ...

Great to see they've stepped up to the table mate. Must a big relief. Regarding the retune I doubt they would entertain a retune bill as tune cannot change (unless they reflash the ECU). The only way I can see you may be able to push for anything like this is if you request a dyno session (power run...

Just tried the Glovebox fix (however the piston wasn't loose and didn't rattle when I tested it). BUT I found the plastic panel/kickplate under the glove box was stupidly loose. I suspect this is the actual source of my rattle.

COPS and WRX's

Had to look twice when I saw this outside my son's school. Couldn't resist the pic. Check out his custom plate too. :D
