I think its condensation from the turf just the way the water droplets have formed and your in humid Queensland

Still have the original battery in my Ralliart now eight years old, I have found in all my cars over the last fifty years that the oem battery last longer than a replacement battery.

Another way to avoid stone chips is to fit mud flaps front and rear, this helps with side chips, I had clear venture shield fitted when the car was new expensive but worth it in the long run.

I always carry a small compressor and a tyre repair kit and repair it on the car, have never used the small spare wheel.

GF-4 certified oil SM/SN/CJ4 oils have to pass the sequence 111G test with the oil at 150c for 100 hours at 3600rpm so I would`nt panic if you are using a decent oil .
