I have had this done (by one of the Sydney guys) and have not found any rev hunting in any gears while cruising. Gear changing is very abrupt and great at WOT.

As far as I was aware, number plates were only allowed to be side mounted on CT9A evos as well as a few Euro cars like Alfas etc. I remember aot of evo guys getting done and then they received a letter from MMA stating it was an ADR approved position.

If you do look into a trolley jack, get a decent one imo. I had a $50 supercheap one for ages and then I bought one of the ARCAN jack from Costco for $165 or something. It is a great bit of kit, and excellent quality, pretty much identical to those in workshops.
