Yeah I tried heating it with a hair dryer and used floss, but I'll try fishing wire since it's stronger. The car is about a year old, so the adhesive is probably still very sticky. I'll it it another try this weekend.

Has anyone here taken off their spoiler before?

I've been attempting to take off my "high rise" spoiler which is similar to the VRX spoiler. I tried to follow the instructions on this forum thread: http://forums.evolutionm.net/09-ralliart-how-installations/433186-how-remove-spoiler-08-ra.html But I'm not sure if it's the adhesive that's...

I would cut away the side and top part of it and just leave the actual "diffuser" part to put on the car. The sides just add extra bulk to the bumper which is already quite big.

They said all up it would cost like $500! I was thinking I might as well buy a rear lip, get it shipped, painted, installed, and it would be half that! Apparently the matt black material itself was going to cost $250 but they're a sign maker so I don't think they're the best to go to for doing vinyl...

I still haven't ended up getting this done for my car. I went to a sign maker and they gave me a ridiculously high quote. I'm sure an actual vinyl wrap shop would be able to do it easier and for a lot cheaper.

How much would this be costing you?

I posted this in another thread before, but looks like this is a good thread to share this. Get one! It's an inexpensive solution for a lip and it really protected my bumper yesterday when I hit a deep driveway which I didn't see :( Only minor scratches though! http://www.clubcj.net/cached_images/13...

Kevin, I've also been doing the same thing but when I accelerate at the lights, the phone falls over haha. So I used blu-tac. But now that I know it's illegal, I won't be doing it anymore :(

Didn't see how deep a driveway was and hit my bumper. Lucky that the EZ lip took most of the damage!
