Oil goes thinner when heated to run through and properly lube the engine, so some parts could have friction before oil gets thin enough to lubricate it. If its too thick, it can take some time to break down... thus also increasing fuel consumption. ...

If they're specifically for Evo it won't fit unless it has a sun roof where there's no rib outter edge as sleeper described. The link looks like it's for NA so should be fine, but don't always rely on pics. Double check with the seller as description seems to say it fits NA ...
