I'm guessing the primary one on that hood is made of metal and is in itself strong, but as its being held in place by carbon/fiber/glass and that is the weak point. it can very easily let go at anytime.. on the freeway....that would be a nightmare.. :P so they would become your primary locks. and th...

you can buy Aerocatch flush mount hood pins and it will hold the bonnet down.. they use these in racing applications to stop the bonnets slamming into the windshield. I've also installed and used these in the past.. installation can be a bit tricky if you aren't used to drilling into body panels
