expensive to service dash rattles way too much seats are poor quality expensive aftermarket parts I haven't had the dash rattle yet, more specifically, the MMCS has two buttons, Seek and volume that have a metallic ting when you hit bumps after a few years use that drives me mad. I was thinking of ...

Spend $35,000 or above on an Aspire and you still don't get it lol.

Most of my gripes have been listed, some can be fixed though lol. 1. Cheap plastic door trims that are uncomfortable as armrests and very poor for a car promoted as the luxury model (Aspire). 2. Seats are uncomfortable for any decent trip. I regularly do a 230km drive with sometimes an instant retur...

They wanted $1268 for the 90,000km service when I arrived. I made an anonymous call before then and got quoted $670. After advising this and having it denied, I rang the nearest dealership, specified all the details for a quote and got advised $700 which was done on speaker phone at the end. I asked...

Just got quoted $1250 for 90k service... Might be disputing that as they have a good habit of stuffing up on every visit. There would be a little bit extra for hunting a wheelbearing like noise in the passenger rear, but I would hope since it was noted at 45k that it should be a warranty issue..

I love in race5ls sticker, theyve censored the f word, but theres still picture of two chicks getting their heads blown off haha Lol, the car was sold on Thursday, not even a week after I put it on. In that time a few people who didn't understand the sticker went from a passive agressive driving de...

Di they quote it as a part bought or R&R (remove and replace, or take off for repair and put back on)? That is too low. They could of just bent the hangars enough to get it higher and hide the non replacement if not in the parts list.. I got an aftermarket exhaust to replace mine lol as it was a...

Here's mine.. I see it as a parody, a rebuttal to the stick family stickers.. I am fully aware though that some people are looking for a reason to be upset and will feel that I hate their personal family or beleive the world is out to get them, id say 99.99% of people with such stickers do not feel ...

Most likely the car is not written off. Plastic bumpers have a tendency to want to try and rebound to their original shape, so when you look at a bumper like that, expect it to have been pushed in twice the distance. I had a worse hit than that in a VE SS ute (1month old) and the rear quarters had e...

New one i picked up in a 1200km round trip on the weekend is air/noise sneaking through seal on drivers door, same sound it should make when not properly closed. And a plastic rattle from the b pillar/seat belt adjuster.

The service department get rewards for reaching quota's, and they will try anything on to do it. Which is good if you're working for a Holden/HSV dealer and watching all the slightly camber worn tyres being replaced. I lost a fair few cases of beer to the local Bridgestone dealer "stockpiling&q...

Cheers Kyrus... I already have a 1982 Commodore that has been fully restored and is close to finished.. So the Aspire gets a back seat due to this and because I have recently transferred it from finance to salary sacrifice through work. Due to the way the lease is setup, we do all our big trips in t...

I'd agree with some points there compared to other cars in the range... The good points I see are the MMCS, RF sound, rear seat room, dash layout, looks, turn illuminating headlights, and maybe the extended warranty depending on how Mitsu take a claim at the time... Bad points for the Aspire which i...

Cheers for the welcome guys ;) Look forward to joining a meet soon. Hi Aaron welcome to the club. I have a tow bar and it was fitted by halls tow bars. I found the tow bar was fine but i had to modify the tongue with a 6mm spacer so it cleared the rear bumper bar. I did not want them to cut a slot f...

Got ours from McGrath Liverpool, no complaints at all with the sales time speel. Was an older bloke (don't think it was Mustafa) who was straight to the point,no hard sell, just said instead of going through the options on paper, it would be better to nut them out on a test drive. We paid $32,500 dr...
