Youngest child, our daughter, was just about to get her Ps in early 2011 so I convinced Hubby that I needed a new car so we could give her the old one, a 1997 Mazda 121 Bubble. I'd had a couple of Mazdas since 1984 and loved them so wanted a Mazda 3. The salesmen at the local Mazda dealers were pret...

Maybe this is the reason the Kluger won't pick up my keys in my bag. I have an iPhone......hmmmm But then again sometimes the Kluger won't pick up my key when I'm standing with them in my hand with no phone anywhere near me. And most of the time it won't lock when you walk away from it like it's sup...

What did I do to my car today? I cried over it. Some *insert appropriate term for person who has no respect for other peoples stuff* decided to use my car for a bumper car. The kids noticed this morning when they moved my sons car that was behind it last night while I was down the coast getting my d...

The Mazda mechanics didn't pick up the shudder in my old 121 at a service. I went to my tyre guy and he looked at it and I got new brake rotors on it. It was around 13 years old at the time. Then 10 months later I had to get the new ones machined. So they only find these things if you tell them.

Wipers are around $10 from Supercheap (yes you can get dearer ones but whatever) and even I can put them on. I replaced mine on my old Mazda 121, my eldests on the old Celica and my father in laws on the Peugeot. The Celica and the Peugeot have wipers on the back as well. And yes they are all still ...

A family of daredevils hey? :P If he does decide to upgrade to a larger more powerful bike try and talk him into something smaller like a 600cc rather than a 1000cc, theyre both incredibly quick but a 1000cc is very easy to make a mistake, going full throttle in 1st 2nd or 3rd in mine will lift the...

I definitely don't approve but if he must do it then I insist it is done safely.

The other boy is into Go Kart racing and owns his own kart. God help me. He has to sell it though because he's going to Columbia for work and by the time he gets home it will be way out of date.

I got my first bike without telling my parents, I just rocked up at home with it one day by surprise :D My son was going to do the same thing. He stuffed up and put his foot in his mouth when he got his Ls because he made some comment about one of his mates bike and safety gear that he'd been playi...

20 yr old son bought himself a Ninja. 2008 or 9 or something. Bright green. Very flashy. Loves riding it everywhere even though the trip from Brisbane to Blayney nearly killed his butt. He's only small though and the 250 was OK for him. They seem rather popular as there are quite a few of them in th...
