I cooked my OEM set of pads at wakefield at a bit before 30,000kms and even still the rotors weren't warped. My replacement RDA grooved and dimpled rotors have had a very hard life and only just getting warped to the point of being unbearable after 40,000km. If it weren't for the fact that I've cook...

[quote:7a2c59e3b8=Hoges]Im keen, RNP always a good run, if there arnt any bikes![/quote:7a2c59e3b8] RNP is not as fun as it used to be, as there is a heavier police presence these days, and since some of the road upgrades, more double line markings, which means you get stuck behind a slow car from ...

[quote:368143499f=tnode]Issues probably related to the lag in uptake of the new DNS record. [/quote:368143499f] nope, royal cock up by our hosting provider, they HAD updated ns4 and ns5 with the correct IP, some reason ns5 reverted back to the old servers IP address, causing random working ness.......

Cheers Stewy. May have to ask around my Sparky mates about that. How far away from power should it be approx? According to AS/NZS 3000:2007 Clause 3.8.4, Figure 3.8 either in conduit or a minimum of 50mm from power cabling but it does say AS/ACIF S009 goes more in depth into it... Personally I woul...

If youre gonna do it, do it properly, go the CAT6 - get GigE and shielded. :P you could probably get a heap from eBay for decent pricing - hopefully decent quality Or go to an electrical wholesaler, the same spot where tradies get their gear from. Most have a fair bit of competition in the area and...

One thing to keep in mind is when it comes to the police they have been known in the past to target any car with a club's sticker if they receive reports that there has been wreck-less driving by a group of cars with club stickers. So in that sense even if an unofficial cruise they are still most ce...

At the end of the day good viruses can get past anything, the best defense is not downloading dodgey crap or opening suspect emails. I haven't run it for years and haven't had a single issue. But if you do want it and have got legit windows then just get this: http://www.microsoft.com/en-au/security...

Could be worth getting them to check that the sensors on the back of the wheel hub are tight and not a bit loose (mine did that once or twice then completely tripped out from coming loose). Losing acceleration is a safety risk, get them to check it out and make sure the sensors are tight and push th...

My oil goes black pretty quick and is nice and dark by the 7,500KM oil change I do. I always use synthetic 10W-40 Nulon oil too, so it's not cheap mineral crap. Unless you specified synthetic and paid extra maybe the dealer is using a cheap mineral oil?

Also short trips will explain alot....

If you go for Dell make sure you get the 3 year warranty and pay the lil bit extra for on-site warranty. Asus always seem to rate well for quality and Samsung are relatively new to the laptop market but seem to make some very well built units. Mac = over-priced and more often than not out-dated tech...

Having had a cheap set from SuperCheap (which rounded bolts much more easily), I can say you are best to just spend $100-150 and get a decent set of metric JBS spanners from Blackwoods. The quality of them is much better and seeing as they will last a lifetime they will pay for themselves before lon...
