Yes , when the stop lights work it comes out of park every time , but cruise control is as yet untested , stop start traffic on the way home and in any case the Mrs was driving and she rarely uses the cruise.

The Lancer went back to dealer today and they said all of those issues can be caused by a crook brake light switch.
It was replaced and hopefully the cruise control and ASC warning fault problems are also gone , time will tell

Yes , I will contact dealer tomorrrow , arrange a time to take it in and hope they have the answer
but I have little faith in them finding an intermittant problem so thats why I asked if anyone else has experienced this

No the one month / 1500 klm is a nothing service , the 12 months timer would be from pre delivery date .

Thanks for the replys , the last 2 posts describe what ours read
i.e. 15000 klm / 12 months done with low klm
but indicator read 30000klm minus what odo reading was at service , in other words a lot more than 15000 klm indicated until next service

hard to pick just one favourite thing so much to like so I guess its either the great looks or all the good features on the VRX ( like the keyless operation , Rockford Fosgate sound , nice wheels , and when it rains on and off the auto wipers and lots more )
