I like your research idea daveee. Hopefully you are right. I will have to keep my pedals crossed for a few weeks to see the result I suppose. I definitely did not see any car of sorts as it could have been in the side street which was not visble. It was strange though as everyone was coasting at the...

What are the mobile police radar rules?

Hi all, Was travelling through St. Ives yesterday and think I got done by a mobile radar unit. The police officer was hiding behind a telegraph pole with a clipboard up against his chest with a "hair drier" on top. He then wrote your rego down. I was travlleing with the flow of traffic on ...

Now that is the sort of answer I was looking for. So when the bottom bar on the graph disappears, you have approx. 30km left. Cool!

Thanks Ozie.

Are the lights at the bottom indicators, or do they just flash when closing?

Also, $ how much please.

I tend to agree with s21197. Especially with the delivery of the fuel by the truck, as it causes alot of turbulence etc.

We do alot of work for the service stations and tank farms and believe me, they are not all beautiful inside those tanks. Sludge, scale, rust and water condensation. Not sure about the filters at service stations though as I got a really bad batch of fuel from Ryde one day as it spluttered heaps and...

Hey Whitlam,
Thanks but don't want to push it too far as might suck up crap from the tank. You never know with some garages these days how often they clean their tanks and what exactly goes in them, like water etc.
BTW - Where in Northern Sydney are you?

thanks all, will assume 30km, as I don't want to walk!!

Strange, because my other cars I have had will always give you a guide as to how many litres you have left (or km) from when the light turns on. It all depends on you drive etc too which I respect, but still would be good to know.

Low Fuel Warning light

Hi all, One thing that has been bugging me for some time is wanting to know how much fuel is left in the tank, or how many km you have left before you run out of fuel when the low fuel warning light comes on. I have looked through the thick manual and cannot find a thing. Does anyone know? Another t...

Hey HO66YS, There is a really good place for wheel repairs at Thornleigh. The guys name is Stewart and the number is 99801125. They are just off Pennant Hills road. My ole man got his wheels repaired a few months ago and they actually do them properly by welding where there is bits missing and then ...
