Re: Looking at buying evo

At your age insurance is going to kill you....ring up a few insurance companies and get a couple of quotes. As for finding a low klm unmodified Evo I wish you luck.Just remember they have all been driven " enthusiastically " and the upkeep is expensive.

Re: 1974 GSR Lancer

Same specs as the works cars were.....1600cc Saturn with the C2 kit, close ratio 4 speed and 4.2:1 or 4.6:1 LSD. There's been a long time spent collecting the right bits Dave. The hardest thing to find has been decent photos of the sump guards...they were a work of art, 3 sheets of 2mm aluminium folde...

Re: 1974 GSR Lancer

This weekends effort.....buffed to bodyshell back to shiny steel and put a couple of coats of etch-prime. Next step is some filler work over the repairs. http://i.imgur.com/8PMprXFl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/mESFHCEl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/IyFONMjl.jpg

Re: A/C compressor worth replacing?

Drive round with the a/c on for a while. The car still needs to relearn throttle settings while the a/c is operating
