Have a look at the amount of material left on the pads.If there is 3mm or less then it it's time to replace them.At the same time measure the rotor thickness if they are within spec you can get them machined or you can replace them if you wish.Change your fluid after you have changed your pads/rotor...

The cooler has two coolant ports and two oil ports on either transmission— they are the same.

For the interim get the weatherstripping off hit it with some rust converter and then paint it with some rustproofing paint.Brush on paint is fine and follow the instructions on the rust converter.This should keep it at bay until you can get it properly treated and painted

As we know the paint on top of your car is pretty much stuffed so a car cover isn’t going to hurt it. The ones super cheap sell are OK Just need to remember to take the cover off after it rains to let everything dry out

Rear braces are a pain....they get in the way when you have to lay the seats down to put something big in the boot.The rear suspension cradle is pretty sturdy I really don't think you would gain any tangible benefit from installing one.
