I was doing about 30km/h and the ASC/ABS etc didnt engage is wasn't that hard of a brake.

I tried it again and it did the same thing though not as bad.

The car does move but just slowly.

I'll see if i can get a video of it.

Pretty much yeah there was a bit of movement but not alot.

Loss of power after hitting the brakes hard

Hey guys

I have a MY11 VRX CVT today I had to slam the brakes on, when I went to accelerate off again I had my foot almost flat the car was reving but barely moving.

After 30 seconds it went back to normal.

Is this normal with the CVT or is something wrong?

Ended up getting a near new MY11 VRX (50km on it) in white sportback in auto :) Hopefully pick it up tomorrow or early next week

I don't know why the 1.4ltr motors are becoming such a big deal here. They've had them in the UK for years putting out alot more power than what were seeing here.

My headunits playing up I've added an amp etc and I doubt mitsu will replace it under warranty.
So thought it would be better to upgrade!

Car was delivered with a Shell Helix sticker on it and at the first service it came back with a Castrol sticker on it.
