Re: Allen Millyard's 5 litre V-twin
The Y2K uses a 2 speed gearbox and a chain and sprocket set up for drive/propulsion.

Re: Allen Millyard's 5 litre V-twin
Technically , I don't think the Y2K was a , "Jet bike" , as such?
It was a helicopter Gas Turbine engine.
Don't get me wrong , I'd love to own one just for the ultra cool factor.

Re: Gear stick vrx
Gear stick or gear knob?
Yes the OEM manual gear knob does unscrew , turn it left to undo.
However . if it is an aftermarket knob it may have three tiny grub screws around the bottom edge you need to loosen then pull straight up.

Re: Finally cracked 400,000 kms.
407,000 klicks is an amazing feat , well done mate.
Still original pistons and rings is astounding!
My 80 odd K looks like a walk in the park.
Fairly sure even the CF's are made in Japan.

Re: Need a good quality car Cover
You don't want a car cover.
Nothing but a pain in the ass to put on and remove.
Also will scratch the shit out of your paint work.
Only time there any good is after a thorough wash and dry of the car , and for long term storage in a dry shed.

It will look brilliant if so.
Well spotted it is a drawing from a model kit.It makes the job of getting the scale right for the decals.
Nice work , very much looking forward to more progress.
