Re: When will I need new Brake Pads?

Perhaps they didn't check the pads or the mechanic don't want extra work.

Re: Help needed!: ASC "Service Required" Error

It is a shame that these things aren't built to be serviceable. Imagine if we can just remove the pump using an allen key and swap a new one in or take it to a electric motor repair shop while the unit is still in the car. No need to mess with brake fluid and bleeding.

Re: When will I need new Brake Pads?

Must change the pads when they start squealing I supposed? Assuming that your pads aren't squealing now.

Re: Replace Transmission

Look at your transmission service invoice and tell us what fluid they put in and how much they charged for it.

Find out what the fault code is so they we can give you more informed advice.

Are you the original owner? If yes, 10yrs 160k drivetrain warranty applies.

Re: Brake Rotor/Pads Recommendations?

They usually have 20% off at click frenzy which will be on Nov 13. Other than that, rough guess is around 4 times a year. You can subscribe to their emails and keep track. They have the ryco in tank fuel filter for $86 which is a big difference to OEM. Even cheaper with 20% off.

Re: Brake Rotor/Pads Recommendations?

If u r going to buy from sparesbox, plan ahead and wait for the 20% off. Also add an oil filter to the order as it is free delivery for orders over $50. BTW, they have 20% off this long weekend till Tue.

Re: Which service should I get? - 150k Done!

You are lucky that they actually changed the fuel filter for you. Now I know what to look for when my turn comes. A standard service, if done properly takes around 45min hoist time. Extra hour for the filter. They say it takes all day to give themselves time to order parts in and do up sell, unplann...

Re: ABS MODULE RECALL PETITION

Ideally, this should be fixed under good will but no one has reported success. Would be interesting if someone take it to the NCAT or similar on the grounds of ACL. If they win, everyone can follow their lead. Wondering what is NCAT's definition of durable for ABS pump under ACL. Whether it is time ...

My account was deleted, as I can sign up using the same user name. The handful of threads I have started are still here. This thread and a sticky thread under ralliart performance. But all my posts have been deleted. I suspect it is the result of deliberate action.

Prior to rejoining, I tried to contact admin via the contact form but didn't receive a reply. I assume it is not bot related as all my other accounts on other forums are fine. If it is bot related, they can always suspend my account and let me know. Considering all my posts have been wiped, I assume...
