I have bought it and it has been at the dealer since Friday. Currently getting some accessories installed. They are Parking sensors, window tint, iPod adaptor, carpet mats and a FREE reverse camera. The accessories are all genuine mitsubishi. Except for the tinting obviously. The deal was $33000 on...

Umm... I don't think that seat was working properly  All the way back the seat folds almost flat! And slid all the way back the pedals are a long stretch and I'm also 180cm. The window sill is higher than most cars, but that's something you get used to soon enough! Most cars these days are mov...

Drivers seating position

So I went and sat in a CJ Aspire the other day at a dealer. Only had a brief sit, didn't take one for a drive, but in my brief sitting session I found that for me, the seat didn't appear to go back far enough and the steering wheel was a bit too far away. I also like to lean my arm on the window sil...

More then welcome to come. We could give you ideas and let you know about the Lancers. You can drive your car, or more then welcome to ride in my Aspire. Thanks very much for the offer Troy. I might take you up on that. I think I might be going to have a look at some dealers on Monday, so depending...

I live in Adelaide. I don't have a CJ yet, but I'm getting close to biting the bullet on buying a White MY10 Aspire. Haven't really done anything toward it yet though, so it might be a while before I get one yet. But once I've got one I'd definitely be interested in attending local cruises.

Thanks for all the responses so far guys, you're a wealth of information. This site should be sponsored by Mitsubishi, this site is more helpful than a dealer. Here's some more questions :-D How do people with the CVT find the acceleration when overtaking on the highway? i.e. B-train trucks, for exa...

Welcome! I find the seats quite comfortable. I have a VRX so no leather but i have had no problems with the comfort factor. Steering wheel etc is adjustable and although i have had people complain about the height of the door sills when sitting, I don't have a problem resting my arm on it. Interest...

The one thing I'll say on the matter of the CVT over the manual you get taller gearing. Manual is 5 speed. CVT in Sport is 6 and in D it goes even taller. Great for the economy on long highway drives. I've had it as low as 6.1lt/100km and you won't see that in a manual. Wow, that's impressive, what...

Re: New to Lancer, looking at an MY10 Aspire

Just go the lip spoiler. Looks really nice. Is that an option I can ask the dealer for? Are there any pics around of that one? 2.4 more gutsy down low than 2.0. And up high it pulls harder. Once they get a few KMs on them, they are a totally different engine! Quite punchy and sounds less tinny or t...

New to Lancer, looking at an MY10 Aspire

Hi all, Just thought I'd say hello. I've been lurking for a few days now, reading up on the CJ. I'm considering trading in my '99 Ford Laser and switching to an MY10 Aspire. I had a drive of a friends '09 CVT ES the other day, and it was quite nice. So I've been looking at the Aspire (in white), and...
