Seems it's just the way the ol' gearbox is

It is a good 'box on the whole, just a few lil gremlins. Perhaps a change of oil may well fix or lessen the severity of the crunchy shifts.

Car reviewers are allegedly paid to give a better than usual review of vehicles.

Manual trans not 100% smoothe

Hey Club CJ'ers, long time no see My 2010 CJ VRX has from new has had rather average gearbox feel. I have driven a few different kinds of vehicles and not many with similar age behave like the manual 'box in my lancer does. Even the ES manual I had before had the same feel. I'll attempt to explain.....
