Re: Is the CJ still a safe car?

It's sad so many people need a computer to drive for them Perhaps if people actually paid attention when driving rather then sending sms when driving or heaven forbid might actually invest 10% of what they spend on a vehicle on actually doing some driving course and learn how to drive that would gre...

Re: Is the CJ still a safe car?

Why bother looking at RACQ for when the only place you should be looking is the ANCAP web site?

http://www.ancap.com.au/safety-ratings/ ... shi/lancer

Has 5 star rating
Always has and no,doubt it always will

Re: Replacing stock Snorkel with RA

Huge advantage to dropping in a RA snorkel.
Drop in a K&N air cleaner. Wrap the intake
Get an ECU tune
Go nuts drop on extractors
You will be very pleasantly rewarded for your time and $

Re: CVT is sh*t

The CVT in the lancer is,tough as nails
The problem is the hardware driving it.
Do the usual . Wrap all the intake .drop in a K&N. Get the ECU tune done. Just wait till you drive a Lancer with the wrapping done on a CVT. It's bloody nice to drive I assure you.

Re: Louder horn for CJ?

Yet another successful stebel nautilus compact air horn install on the CJ This time under the bonnet latch pointing straight forward behind the Mitsubishi badge and good luck seeing it and you sure as sugar will hear it once the horn button is depressed and the stock twin piezo electric work along s...

Re: Mitsubishi Lancer sport sedan.

Everyone gets wrapped up with power and thinks it just HP. There is also Torque that goes with it. The 4B11 2 litre is a square motor and torque to boot. It's all the restrictions that kill it. Remove the restrictions and you have a very good vehicle you can have a lot of fun with very inexpensively...

Re: Mitsubishi Lancer sport sedan.

No need to spend huge $ to make power on these lancers For about $100 you can buy say 20 meters of thermal exhaust wrap And do the headers with it. Do the radiator hoes with it Get a decent sized sheet of gold heat insulator wrap. Do the air box. Snorkel. And the inlet hose from air box to the throt...
