The Hunwick Hallam is very nice
If you ever get the opportunity to visit the motorcycle museum on highway one just to the north of Sydney, you will enjoy that , there is all kinds of goodies in there

Re: Allen Millyard's 5 litre V-twin
Have a look at the Norton F1 Rotary and it's history and why they banned it in racing.
It was a pretty incredible bike for sure

Re: Allen Millyard's 5 litre V-twin
Personally I would rather a Boss Hoss V8 or an Aussie Drysdale V8
However
If I could get a road legal unit I would have a radial engine off an aeroplane driven motor cycle
Or
Preferably a jet or rocket Power drag bike
However
For practicality, the Boss Hoss wins for me hands down

Re: Gear stick vrx
It may have been over tighten a few times and now the threads are stuffed
It could be the gear knob itself is stuffed
Know anyone else with a lancer near by you can swap the gear knob with to test ?
Got a wrecker near by you can test with ?

Try reading the performance na section about tactrix and the rest of OBD2 stuff you will need
Merlin is still around don't you worries about that
Can you buy just one of the adjustable coil over complete? The majority of manufacture won't let you do that and you need to buy a full set.

Re: 120k service DIY
For your brakes , safety should be your number one priority not $ , not only safety for yourself , but the others you share the road with. If you have any doubt in your ability to do it go talk to a decent local mechanic. If you can't see any leaks around the hoses then that's a good thing. Leave th...

Re: 120k service DIY
Rotor for the Lancer now days is reasonable priced Don't be surprised to get the rotors machine on car is not much different between buying new ones So if they do need to be machined, it's usually.more cost effective to replace them Out of interest , when was the radiator hoses last replacement done...

Re: 2008 Lancer CJ VRX - Build thread
this is why i made sure the adjustable coilovers i bought i could get spares for them before i bought them cos you never know when something might go wrong ,and they do cost a bit of $ so , if they do develop issues you have a fighting chance of getting them fixed rather then bin the lot cos you can...

Could have been worse
They could have had the decal on it that says "common rail EFI" or similar
Are your new adjustable coil over able to be rebuilt or get spares parts ?

Re: 120k service DIY
FR6Ei work a treat , from memory they were for the 4B12 however, I have been using those in my 4B11 for past few years. Radiator coolant should be flushed every 2 years.get the bottles of 5L pre mix coolant from Autobarn etc to save some $ they work. Break fluid will drop as the pads wear out. Perfe...
