It's a calculated Torque figure, not a real figure.

Every brand needs a Hero car in my opinion, and how many FWD Lancers do you see done up to look like Evo's. Hell, alot of Lancers are sold based on that alone. I think everyone is missing the point, it's not as much as there will be no more Evo or something like it, it's more they are moving away fr...

Any Interest of a Tech night at TMR?

For those of you that don't know TMR are located in Hallam Victoria, we moved to our current location in Feb 2010. It's from here that we sell the Evolution X RS to the motorsport community, build and prepare Gravel and Tarmac Rally cars as well as circuit racing cars. It's where we build cars like ...

And that why I love this type of racing, the V8's for me have become too much like hard core race cars. I love the fact that in the Bathurst 12hour some of the cars racing still had the factory sound system installed, true race on sunday buy on Monday type racing (with a few mods of course ;)). Yup...

Dan, silly question but what is the limits in terms of modifications for this race? I'm watching it on OneHD at the moment :) Standard Engine and Turbo for a start. It's a production car which means standard engine, engine internals, standard turbo. From there we run a standard Intercooler, Interco...

TMR 3" Exhaust and Dump 3 Port Green Injectors Jase, as you know I don't often post graphs as it's always a recipe for disaster as everyone is always an expert (hehe I'll probably regret this) but I'll tell you this. Just as much as the parts list and spec being important, the time spent tuning...

I guess I was trying to say that you can accomplish both good power and a steady boost curve without changing the piping. The graph below is showing an Evo X 5 speed manual tuned with and without a 3 port boost solenoid. The blue line is with, the red line is without. I'd suggest that the blue line ...

Sure, but the boost curve is up to tuning and the parts fited. Run a grimspeed 3 port compared to the prodrive unit and you'll see the boost come on quicker by comparison, however the pro drive unit seems to be better in stabilization. Depends what you want, me I prefer better stabilization as then ...

So, you took an Evo X SS-T from a dyno that reads 170kW approx to 230kW at the wheels with a 3" TBE, 1.5 bar actuator, hard pipe kit and BOV.

Have you tried just a 3" TBE and 3 port. You'll net the same gains with less changes under the bonnet. Just a thought.

Nope, standard bypass valve is good for holding 25-26psi without any issue, not sure what your problem is, but a tune will fix any issues you are having.

why do car companies bother making a concept car if the ones that they actually make look nothing like it. simple, It's because they don't! It's not a concept car, it's a rendering that's been doing the rounds for a while, It's NOT REAL! That image surfaced about 8 months ago or more and it didnt c...
