Re: What engine oil do YOU use?

Suggest full synthetic. 10-40 will keep warranty happy. Change every 10000ks should be OK. Check the oil and depending on how much of your driving is stop start maybe every 5000ks. With the ks you cover this will keep your changes to less then 6 months apart. Thanks fam! Yeah I was thinking about c...

Re: What engine oil do YOU use?

If you do a lot of stop start, then look in the handbook and pick a viscosity that is suitable for the higher ambient temperature range. Buy synthetic oil and ryco syntec filter. My car don't get stressed much so I just wait for repco combo deal. Last 2 changes were castrol magnetec 10w30 and penri...

Re: What engine oil do YOU use?

Just use a good quality 5W30 or 5W40 and you will be sweet.10,000k change intervals with a new oil filter each oil change.I service 30 odd cars a week and the regularly serviced cars with good oil in them have less problems than the cars we only see once a year. Yeah I was thinking 5w-40 honestly, ...

What engine oil do YOU use?

So I've been scrolling through the forums seeing everyone's opinions on the best grade oil to use for our CJ lancers and it seems 5w-30/5w-40 seem to be a frequently said choice, I'm thinking of changing up the oil to a higher grade if possible it's a 2016 cvt 2.4, the cars at 22'000km and has only ...

Re: is this worth it?

$175 Fitted myself. Undo two clips at front, pull the old one out, push the new one on. Replace clips, one will have to be replaced with a longer one. Though just the one will hold it down till you get around to doing it.. Got one from Autobahn. Holes in the front panel, my own design. There are al...

Re: is this worth it?

Some months ago. Purchased RA snorkel from Mitsu: dealer $175 and Whiteline front strut bar, plus Quick release kit from Autobahn $230. My car is a MY15 CJ ES sport. Ra snorkel is a must have, does so much!. strut bar while not obvious does improve handling, and steering feel but that's subjective, ...

Re: Hi All!

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/MITSUBISHI-DUCT-AIR-CLEANER-1505A265-GENUINE-/262509902745 Bought this exact one. Perfect fitment. You will need new fasteners because the ones connected to your current snorkel wont lock in properly. One will work (and will hold it fine) but it's always better have them ...

Re: Painted calipers!

Nice job, they always look good when done neatly. Hahah thanks man! That's for sure! Yeah prep is the key, takes hours to get ready they painting takes minutes (allowing time between coats) but well worth the effort, I did mine in yellow over 2 years ago and they still look great. I didn't worry abo...
