Re: Headlights from Carmate
I've been looking at these as well as the Mars ones. But I'm not sure how bright they'd be. I've never actually seen another Lancer with Aftermarket lights. i've seen very few in aus, i've seen quite few with custom tail lights but only seen around 2-3 with these angel eye headlights, last one i sa...

Re: No. 1 FAVORITE thing about your Lancer!!
Design design design, a simple VRX/GSR stock looks menancing, for years even before I could drive I always thought lancers looked look the most sporty commercial cars I've laid eyes on, especially the tail lights, absolutely gorgeous Agreed they do look pretty tough and if its not tough enough the ...

Re: is this worth it?
$175 Fitted myself. Undo two clips at front, pull the old one out, push the new one on. Replace clips, one will have to be replaced with a longer one. Though just the one will hold it down till you get around to doing it.. Got one from Autobahn. Holes in the front panel, my own design. There are al...

Re: What engine oil do YOU use?
Strange but true! Castrol Magnetec oil commercial, as used by dealer is 15-40 and for private use as sold by for instance by Autobahn is 10-40 Yeah I've seen 10w40 advertised too for our lancers, supercheap seems to really push up a few 5w30-40s, nulon roughly the same just like penirite mostly 5w2...

Re: What engine oil do YOU use?
Mitsubishi Australia refered me back to the dealer when I attempted to get an answer from them. They appear to me, unwilling to accept any responsibility for information re their product, just refer you back to the dealer. :? Yeah lmao I asked Mitsubishi Australia on Facebook to what oil should be ...

Re: What engine oil do YOU use?
Not saying I can't do an oil change but with just 10k per year normally it's pointless when I have to pay for the service anyway at the end of the year. The bulk of the extended warranty covers the engine and GB, stuff the warranty conditions and I've wasted the extra cost of the extended warranty....

Re: What engine oil do YOU use?
Their is something about doing your own oil change, I know a lot of things on the service list of a modern car can't be done without the right training and electronic tools but as for now the oil and filter change is one thing most can still do without much extra training. That said mine CJ might b...

Re: What engine oil do YOU use?
Should be done atl east every 10,000ks according to owners manual. Its probably closer to 10k but last year was higher with a 6000km trip south. Right now after 6 months its around 5k so far so on target again! Most engine oils will do more kays than the dealer will tell you and within reason its m...

Re: What engine oil do YOU use?
Owners hand book gives you a wide range of possibles, I also checked with Nulon, my choice of oil and they claimed 5-30 and 5-20 was their preference for our car. Check with your dealer and see what they accept as being OK.. Mitsubishi Australia refered me back to the dealer when I attempted to get...
